Police Arrest IRT Smuggler 4.3 Kg Of Marijuana Via SIM Aceh Airport
Banda Aceh Police arrested a housewife (IRT) from Jakarta with the initials SH (36) suspected of smuggling 4.3 kilograms of marijuana through Sultan Iskandar Muda (SIM) Bandang Bintang airport, Aceh Besar.
"The perpetrator has sent 12 packages of marijuana with a similar mode, two of which failed," said Head of Narcotics Unit of the Banda Aceh Police, AKP Rajabul Asra, in Banda Aceh, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 27.
In this case, he said, officers secured two packages of marijuana weighing 4.3 kilograms and an alleged perpetrator who is an IRT from Kebun Jeruk District, West Jakarta.
The disclosure of this case began with an Avsec officer at SIM airport who found two packages of marijuana weighing 4.3 kilograms that were about to be sent to Jakarta from the cargo of the local airport, Sunday (25/8).
The two cannabis packages were wrapped in blankets, and sent through one of the expedition services in the North Aceh region, with the names of the senders and false recipients.
The package was sent by Marlia from North Aceh for two people in Jakarta, namely the recipients of Warisman Daely and Galuh in East Jakarta.
"It turns out that the name of the sender and recipient of the package is fake or fictitious, the package contains dried marijuana wrapped in a blanket," he said.

From these findings, the police then carried out further investigations until finally arresting the suspect SH who had been in North Aceh.
"The suspect was arrested in the Pirak Timu District, then we took him to Banda Aceh, this arrest was also thanks to the help of the North Aceh Police Narcotics Unit," he said.
Rajabul said, based on the results of the examination, it was known that the suspect SH was an order from a person with the initials FZ (name) who lives in North Aceh, and the person concerned is still being searched.
To send the package, SH was paid Rp. 1 million per package. So far, the suspect has sent 12 packets of marijuana in a similar mode, and two of them failed.
