Russia Accuses Ukrainian Troops Of Being Trained To Use Chemical Ammunition
JAKARTA - Russia's military chemical defense agency said Ukrainian forces were receiving training to fire chemical ammunition using Western weapons systems.
"Operative information shows that Ukrainian military personnel are being trained to use chemical ammunition with a Western-made artillery system. Kirillov, who is the head of the Russian armed forces Radiology, Chemical and Biology Defense Forces, said Russia had sent evidence of Ukraine's violation of the Convention on the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) to the technical secretariat of the OPCW, but had not yet received a response.
