Mission From Megawati For Airin-Ade In Banten: Zero Stunting!
JAKARTA - General Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri asked Airin Rachmi Diany-Ade Sumardi to prioritize tengkes or stunting alleviation. The figure should not only be reduced but really must be zero.
This was conveyed by Megawati during a speech after giving a recommendation to Airin-Ade Sumardi in the 2024 Banten Pilgub at the PDIP DPP Office, Menteng, Central Jakarta today, Monday, August 26.
"There are still many stunted children. Later, if Mrs. Airin quickly, what is called Banten if it becomes there, yes, how come stunting uses percent. Stunting is, yes, zero," Megawati said in front of Airin-Ade Sumardi.
Megawati said that tengkes should be a concern because it does not make children grow into dwarfs but also affects intelligence. In fact, he admitted that he had reprimanded General (Ret.) Andika Perkasa while serving as TNI Commander.
The reason is that Andika has lowered the TNI's height requirements from 170 cm to 160 cm. "Eh, Dik (Andika's nickname), what about you Commander, instead this is nurunin, height, 170, now it's down 160," said the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia.
