Arrest Perpetrators Of Porn Content, Police Find 44 Children's Fun Videos

JAKARTA - The police have uncovered a case of circulating videos containing pornography on social media. From this case, 59 immoral content was found, 44 of which involved children.

"The video contains immorality which allegedly involves 44 videos of minors," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak to reporters, Monday, August 26.

Meanwhile, the other 15 videos are pornographic content played by adults.

In this case, the man with the initials YA (26) was named a suspect. Based on the results of the examination of the victim, the suspect's modus operandi was to contact the target randomly.

Then, through the Whatsapp short message application, the suspect persuaded the victim to show her sensitive body parts.

"After that, the victim's child was persuaded and promised by the suspect that Rp600 thousand would be given money on condition that he had to show a sensitive part (chest section) through a Video Call," he said.

Not only that, the suspect, who used the account number 08575515*** ***, again asked the victim to do the same thing.

Victims who refuse are threatened by the suspect to spread pornographic acts that have previously been recorded.

"That the victim's child has become a'slave sex' for him, and the victim's child must serve the perpetrator for 1 year. If not carried out, the victim's child must pay Rp. 1 million every time he refuses his request, and threatens to disseminate videos that have been recorded previously," said Ade.

In this case, the suspect YP was charged with Article 27 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph (1) of Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions and/or Article 4 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 29 of Law Number 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography.
