Collaborating With BSSN, Huawei Holds Cyber Security Competition
JAKARTA Huawei and Cyber Polytechnic and State Passwords (Poltek SSN), educational institutions under BSSN, held the WRECK IT 5.0 competition. This competition was held to understand the risks of cyberattacks from an early age. WRECK IT 5.0 uses the flag capture competition format with the jeopardy and attack/defence type. Prior to entering the final round, the competition was attended by 239 teams with a general category and 74 junior categories. There are now 15 finalists remaining in the last round. The final round of the WRECK IT 5.0 was held at the Huawei Innovation Center, Jakarta. The event was opened by the Director of Polytechnic SSN First Marshal TNI R. Tjahjo Khuniawan and Cyber Security and Privacy Officer (CSPO) Huawei Indonesia Syarbeni. In addition to holding the final round matches, Huawei and Poltek SSN also held workshops and seminars related to the latest cybersecurity trends. At this seminar, the speakers discussed the privacy and data issues that became the foundation of the digital community. A number of speakers present were Deputy for Cyber Security and Sandi for the Economy of BSSN Slamet Aji Pamungkas, Professor of the Faculty of Computer Sciences of the University of Indonesia Wisnu Jatmiko, Director of Cyber Security Operations of BSSN Andi Yusuf, and many more. Slamet said that WRECK IT 5.0 was a follow-up to the memorandum of understanding between Huawei and BSSN in maintaining cyberspace security. Both of them also agreed to strengthen the capacity and competence of digital talent.
