Production Version Suzuki EVX Will Debut Global Early Next Year, Targeting European Market

JAKARTA - Further news about the fate of the production version of the Suzuki eVX concept car has come to light. The car will be introduced globally in early 2025.

Launching Autocar India, Monday, August 26, this SUV will make its global debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 on January 17-22 in New Delhi, India after experiencing several delays.

The Suzuki's first electric car will be assembled in India and will be exported to various regions around the world, including Europe.

"We will officially announce the BEV at the Auto Expo in India in January next year, and we look forward to launching it in early 2025. We will prioritize Europe first," Suzuki said.

Suzuki eVX will prioritize competitive European and Japanese markets. Production is expected to start earlier this year and most of its units will be aimed at exports by producing 1,500 units per year.

This car was developed by the manufacturer with the 'S' logo that utilizes partnerships with Toyota, so this SUV will have a version of Toyota a few months after the launch of the eVX.

Several times this car was caught on camera being tested on the road with a camouflage blanket. Finally, this car is known to be carrying out trials with the latest rim which is believed to be brought to the production version.

The SUV also has a distinctive design with a standout sepabor, a sturdy front bumper, a bright engine hood, and a wide rear light. While the side looks sturdy with the addition of a small back wing hanging over the rear glass.

The Suzuki EVX will be equipped with a number of attractive features such as a ventilated front seat, automatic infiltration IRVM, turn drive mode, six airbags as standard, sunscreen panel, 360 degree camera system, and ADAS.

Built on Toyota's platform, namely 27PL, the SUV is expected to come with two battery variants with 40 kWh and 60 kWh. It is reported that the vehicle can run up to 550 km in one charge.

According to the news circulating, the Suzuki eVX is also supported by a fast charging system and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) features and is offered on single and double electric motors.
