A Number Of Natural Food Prices Increase, Shallots Almost Rp. 30,000 Per Kg
JAKARTA - The National Food Agency (Bapanas) noted that the price of a number of food commodities such as shallots rose to Rp25,900 per kilogram (kg), as of Sunday morning, August 25, 2024.
Based on data from the Bapanas Price Panel which was reported at 09.00 WIB, food prices at the retail traders level nationally increased slightly, such as premium rice, which was observed to increase 0.84 percent or Rp130 to Rp15,670 per kg.
Then, the price of medium rice also rose slightly by 0.74 percent or Rp100 to Rp13,690 per kg; as well as Bulog's Supply Stability and Food Price (SPHP) rose slightly by 0.24 percent or Rp30 to Rp12,610 per kg.
Likewise, the price of shallot commodities also rose 2.90 percent or Rp730 to Rp25,900 per kg; then garlic also rose 0.63 percent or Rp250 to Rp39,970 per kg.
Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili commodities fell by 2.65 percent or Rp1,150 to Rp42,180 per kg; then red cayenne pepper also fell by 2.67 percent or Rp1,500 to Rp54,710 per kg.
Meanwhile, the price of pure beef was observed to have slightly increased by 0.15 percent or Rp200 to Rp135,230 per kg; but the commodity of broiler chicken decreased by 1.46 percent or Rp510 to Rp34,430 per kg; in contrast to broiler eggs rose 1.16 percent or Rp330 to Rp28,830 per kg.

Meanwhile, dried soybeans (imports) were also observed to increase by 0.67 percent or Rp80 to Rp11,990 per kg; then consumption sugar also slightly increased by 0.78 percent or Rp140 to Rp18,010 per kg.
Furthermore, simple packaged cooking oil was observed to increase slightly by 0.11 percent or Rp20 to Rp18,020 per kg; while bulk cooking oil also decreased by 0.99 percent or Rp160 to Rp15,930 per kg.
Then the price of bulk flour also fell 0.49 percent or Rp50 to Rp10,160 per kg; while non-mass wheat flour rose 0.53 percent or Rp70 to Rp13,340 per kg.
Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level also rose to 3.07 percent or Rp180 to Rp6,050 per kg; as well as the price of fine Sodium salt also rose 1.14 percent or Rp130 to Rp11,570 per kg.
Next, the price of kembung fish rose 1.86 percent or Rp690 to Rp37,710 per kg; as well as tuna rising slightly by 0.13 percent or Rp40 to Rp31,880 per kg; while milkfish were observed to fall by 3.55 percent or Rp1,170 to Rp31,790 per kg.
