BP Tapera Guarantees The Security Of Personal Data For All Participants
JAKARTA - The People's Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) affirms its commitment to maintaining the security of personal and financial data of all participants.
Director of Information Technology BP Tapera Terzia Ananta Bagus Sumaji said BP Tapera had adopted the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) cybersecurity framework in an effort to maintain data security.
This framework covers various aspects of information security, ranging from identification and protection of information assets, threat detection, to response and recovery to cybersecurity incidents.
"Investments in cybersecurity technology have been upgraded to protect participant data from threats and violations," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, August 23.
In addition, as part of the application of technology, Ananta explained that BP Tapera has implemented big data related to the supply and demand for housing to analyze the property market more deeply.
This data includes information from developers and various housing projects.
In addition, BP Tapera has also since 2020 used a combination of private and public data centers (hybrid cloud) to increase scalability, operational efficiency, flexibility in data management.
On the same occasion, the Director General of Housing at the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, Iwan Suprijanto, said that digitalization in the housing sector needs to be increased because the housing implementation process is a long series of activities ranging from land preparation to management.
According to him, the decline in the number of backlogs or housing shortages from 12.7 million in 2021 to 9.9 million is currently only an initial indicator.
In fact, the government still does not have specific individual data regarding people who fall into the category of requiring a home.
"In addition, data regarding the availability of livable houses is still incomplete," said Iwan.
This technology support is very important. I want every recipient of assistance (subsidy for housing facilities for housing financing liquidity or FLPP) to get a house where it can be tracked. This is in order to build accountability so that we can monitor it at any time," he continued.
