Reza Rahadian's Satire At The DPR During The Oration In Action Rejects The Pilkada Bill

JAKARTA - Reza Rahadian was seen participating in the demonstration against the 2024 Pilkada Bill in front of the DPR RI building.

In his oration, Reza admitted that he, who had always been careful in taking a stand in the political world, now felt that he could no longer remain silent.

"I was present today because as simple as I always tended to be careful in taking a stand, I never wanted to participate in political contestation, I never interfered in election matters and others or who was the team that I avoided the most," said Reza Rahadian in front of the DPR RI Building., Senayan, Central Jakarta, Thursday, August 22.

"And I have always made the art world my forum to convey restlessness and social criticism. But today I can no longer stay still, I can't sleep quietly at home after whose face was torn apart before," he added.

He further questioned the cleanliness of the DPR, which should be the people's representative and listen to the people.

"And today we all have received a decision that we really respect from the Constitutional Court, we are still trying to be robbed, we are still trying to be tackled," continued Reza Rahadian.

"Last night I wrote that intitusi had committed an act that returned its modality as a constitution and today we found the fact that it was trying to be annulled by an institution that was said to be our representatives today. So who are you in this representative?," asked Reza.

Ended the sentence, Reza Rahadian emphasized that the presence of this action was because it had no personal or political interests.

"I don't represent any interests, I have no personal interests I don't participate in any political participation, I am present today as an ordinary people with all my friends, representing no one but the voices of restless people who see our democracy like this," he said.
