JAKARTA - Chairman of the Golkar Party, Bahlil Lahadalia will be the sole formatur to develop a party management structure for the 2024-2029 period. Of course Bahlil has the privilege of determining who the Golkar Party's supervisory board (Wanbin) is.Recently, there has been speculation that Bahlil's leadership will open up opportunities for President Joko Widodo to become chairman of the Golkar Party's Wanbin. Will Bahlil consider it?Responding to the rumors, Bahlil asked all parties not to think negatively. He emphasized that until now there was no proposal regarding Jokowi as Wanbin."We have to think positively, don't always be negative. This nation is late for progress because our thoughts were too negative first. So there is no business for Mr. President Jokowi to become chairman of Wanbin, until today there is none. I have discussed it, nothing. So that's not true," said Bahlil during a press conference at JCC, Senayan, Wednesday, August 21.But he did not deny that the rumors would be a prayer. If Jokowi becomes Wanbin, said Bahlil, then Golkar will be more patented.
"Our country is a democracy, hopefully if the prayers are answered by Allah. If it becomes a patent for the goods, right. So there is no such thing," he said.
