Acting Regent Of Bogor: Construction Of Peak Layang Trains Using Business Schemes

BOGOR - Acting (Pj) Bogor Regent Asmawa Tosepu revealed that the construction of an elevated train or skytrain in the Puncak tourist area, Bogor Regency, West Java, will be carried out with a business scheme."We encourage the concept of B2B (Business to Business)," said Asmawa in Cibinong, Antara, Wednesday, August 21.B2B is a business transaction that occurs between one company and another. According to Asmawa, the concept has been approved by the President Director of PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) III Mohammad Abdul Ghani, who will cooperate with private company investors as an elevated train manager in the Puncak tourist area."Even the President Director of PTPN, Pak Ghani, agreed to 'let's go with PTPN only', because PTPN also has many tourist spots," said Asmawa.He emphasized that the construction of an elevated train in the Puncak tourist area was not just a discourse, starting with a request from the Bogor Regency Government to the central government."This is serious, we have written to the central government, such as to the Ministry of Transportation, especially BPTJ (Jabodetabek Transportation Management Agency), yesterday in response to a meeting in Puncak," he also said.Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency, Research and Development (Bappedalitbang) of Bogor Regency, Ajat Rohmat Jatnika, explained that the construction of this elevated train was to complete the arrangement of the Puncak tourist area, which is currently being intensively carried out by the Bogor Regency Government."That is the proposed district government to be presented. So that all tours in Puncak, especially upstream areas, are connected to each other," said Ajat.The Bogor Regency Government has even compiled a concept for providing skytrains with six connecting stop stations from the Gunung Mas Rest Area to Puncak Pass on the border of Bogor Regency with Cianjur Regency.
The starting point of the skytrain station is in the parking area of the Gunung Mas bus, the second in the area of the Mount Mas Rest Area, the third at Pakis Hill, the fourth at Pinus Forest, the fifth at Bukit Sumbul, and finally Puncak Pass.
