The KUDUS - District Attorney (Kejari) of Kudus Regency, Central Java, is still continuing to examine witnesses for questioning regarding alleged corruption in the construction of the tobacco products industry center (SIHT) in 2023."The previous witness examination was not completed, so it was resumed today. The witnesses we examined were six people," said Head of the Kudus District Attorney's Office Henriyadi W Putro in Kudus, Antara, Tuesday, August 20. He revealed that currently his party is still conducting an investigation to complete the evidence.On Monday afternoon, the Kudus District Attorney searched the office of the Kudus Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Industry Office and confiscated a number of important documents and a laptop related to the alleged corruption case.During a search at the Manpower Office, the Head of the Industry Office of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Kudus was also witnessed regarding the confiscation of evidence.Among them, there are initial stage documents starting from the planning, auction, and final stages documents related to the construction of SIHT or the cigarette production site in 2023 at the land acquisition stage with a project value of Rp9.16 billion.Meanwhile, the search was carried out in connection with a series of investigations carried out by the Kudus Kejari investigating team based on the investigation warrant number: PRINT01/M.3.18/Fd.13/8/2024 which found allegations of corruption in the SIHT development activities against the land work package (uruk land) in the Manpower Office in 2023.The SIHT development project in 2023, there is a niche work activity package which has a volume of 43,223 square meters. The implementation is through an electronic catalog (e-catalog) mechanism with the winner who contracts with a contract value of Rp9.16 billion at a unit price of Rp212 thousand.However, the third party who got the job in the settlement was carried out by another party, namely the initials SK with a project value of Rp4.04 billion or at a unit price of Rp93,500 without the knowledge of the Commitment Making Officer (PPK).Then SK handed over the work to AK with a project value of Rp. 3.11 billion at a land unit price of Rp. 72,000 without the knowledge of the PPK.In addition, it was found that the material used to complete the work did not come from Kuwari in accordance with the letter of support.
The construction of SIHT, which began in 2023, received a budget of IDR 21 billion for the construction of a mobile fence, talud, backfilling, and drainage on an area of 3.7 hectares. Meanwhile, this year it was continued to build four units of production warehouses and one hangar for Customs and Excise, IPAL, the continuation of the construction of mobile fences, front fences, wells, and road hardening.
