Flyover Djuanda Sidoarjo Throughout 858 Meters Completed, Can Unravel Congestion At The Kalimantan Roundabout

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has completed the construction of the Djuanda Flyover in Sidoarjo Regency, East Java.

This 858 meter (m) flyover has two flyover structures, namely 435 m A flyover connecting Sidoarjo to Juanda Airport Access Road and 423 m long b flyover connecting Juanda Airport Access to Surabaya.

"To unravel congestion in theROW Roundabout area as well as smooth the flow of traffic at a railroad crossing located at Juanda Airport Access Road, the Ministry of PUPR has completed the construction of the Djuanda Flyover in Sidoarjo Regency, East Java," explained PUPR on its official Instagram account @kemenpupr, quoted Tuesday, August 20.

To support the safety of motorists, the Djuanda Flyover is equipped with a 3m light per distance along its structure. Meanwhile, in the optimite area and frontage, PJU poles are installed with solar cell resources.

"The flyover building organization will also pay attention to aspects of beauty by prioritizing local arts and culture and equipped with landscapes," he said.

The naming of the Follow-up Flyover to Djuanda is an effort to honor the services of National Hero Djuanda Kartawidjaja as the originator of the Declaration of Djuanda in 1957 and the initiator of the construction of an international airport in East Java.
