Praised By Rosan Roeslani As A Candidate For The Chairman Of Golkar, Bahlil Smiles Happy

JAKARTA - Investment Minister/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Roeslani said Bahlil Lahadalia, who had just been appointed as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources as a candidate for chairman of the Golkar Party.

This was conveyed by Rosan during the handover of the position or certificate of the Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM at the BKPM Ministry Office, Jakarta, Monday, August 19.

"First of all, allow me to greet those we respect, love, and be proud of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM 2019-2024 and also the candidate for General Chairperson of Golkar, my sister, Mr. Bahlil Lahadalia," said Rosan during his remarks.

Hearing Rosan's words, Bahlil only responded with a happy smile. Bahlil did not give further repsons afterward.

Met after the certificate, Bahlil said that he would register himself as a candidate for chairman of Patai Golkar. He also said he would take his registration form tonight.

"Later tonight at 7.00 WIB I will register (the general chairman of the Golkar Party)," said Bahlil.

When asked whether he was the sole candidate in the general chairman of the Golkar Party, Bahlil admitted that he did not know about it.

"Ask to the observing commitment, yes I can't say that. I'm a competition participant, it's not me who organizes the competition," said Bahlil.
