Supporting Indonesia's 7th Anniversary At IKN, Pertamina Patra Niaga Strengthens Fuel Distribution

JAKARTA Pertamina Patra Niaga formed a Task Force (Satgas) to increase fuel stock to ensure the distribution of fuel and LPG during the celebration of Indonesia's 79th birthday (HUT) in the State Capital (IKN) Nusantara.

This took place from August 1, 2024 and will end on August 31, 2024.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Heppy Wulansari explained that his party had taken various strategic steps to ensure the distribution of energy went smoothly.

"Pertamina Patra Niaga has increased fuel stocks at several important points around IKN including ensuring LPG stock and distribution. In addition, various supporting infrastructures, including tank cars and storage facilities, have been prepared to anticipate a surge in demand during celebrations," explained Heppy in a written statement, Friday, August 16.

Area Manager Communication, Relation & CSR of Kalimantan Pertamina Patra Niaga Arya Yusa Dwicandra added, Pertamina has prepared and prepared storage facilities such as Integrated Terminal (IT) Balikpapan, Aviation Fuel Terminal (AFT) Sepinggan and APT Pranoto Samarinda.

For the City of Balikpapan, there are 15 Regular Gas Stations and 2 Modular Gas Stations, while in North Penajam Paser there are 4 Regular Gas Stations, 3 Mini Gas Stations, 4 Pertashop, 1 Modular Gas Station, 6 bag gas stations in the form of tank cars, 2 packaging services, 2 packaging pickup units and 5 motorists.

"Today, 2 units of MyPertamina gas stations have been inaugurated to support the distribution of energy in the IKN area. The two gas stations have a storage of 10 Kiloliters (KL) each, located in Bukit Raya Village, Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency and at JL. Letkol. Pol. HM Asnawi Arbain, Gunung Bahagia Village, Balikpapan," added Arya.

Pertamina Patra Niaga in the Kalimantan Region has also carried out intensive coordination with various related parties to ensure that the distribution of fuel and LPG runs without obstacles. The task force is ready 24 hours to ensure that energy needs are met properly

"We have also held special training for field officers to improve preparedness and rapid response to various situations that may occur. Safety and security of energy distribution are top priorities," added Arya.

In addition to ensuring the availability of energy, Pertamina Patra Niaga is also committed to preserving the environment during the event.

Various green initiatives, such as the use of environmentally friendly fuels and emission reductions, have been implemented as part of the company's ongoing efforts to support sustainable development at IKN.
