Gibran-Jan Ethes In The Papuan Traditional Dress At The Merdeka Palace

JAKARTA - Elected Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka arrived at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, in traditional Papuan clothing to witness the Commemoration of the Seconds of the Proclamation in the Context of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

Gibran arrived at the Palace at around 09.10 WIB with his wife Selvy Ananda, his first son Jan Ethes Srinarendra and daughter La Lembah Manah.

Gibran and Jan Ethes compactly wore traditional Papuan clothing with the spear property they were holding, while Selvy Ananda wore a blue night Lampung traditional dress with gold head ornaments.

The youngest daughter of La Lembah Manah wore a simple black kebaya with a gold accent on her wrist.

Gibran and his family are also waiting for the presence of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin and Mrs. Wury Ma'ruf Amin to enter the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.

The holding of the Proclamation Seconds Ceremony in the context of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia was held in two locations, namely the capital city of Nusantara, East Kalimantan and the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.

If the Flag Increase Ceremony and military ceremony are held at IKN, the event at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta will focus on a series of entertainment activities, such as the Gita Bahana Nusantara choir, performances from singer Vidi Aldiano and regional dance performances.
