Waskita Sriwijaya's President Commissioner Was Questioned By The KPK Regarding The Distribution Of Money In The DJKA Case

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined the President Commissioner of PT Waskita Sriwijaya Tol, Anak Agung Gede Sumadi Suka Sedana related to the bribery case of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub). He was questioned several things by investigators, one of which was about distributing money to a number of parties.

"The information we got in question was asked for information regarding the auction, procurement and granting fees to several parties," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika, Friday, August 16.

Tessa has not detailed the gift. He said investigators had not provided any information because the search for evidence was still ongoing.

Likewise, regarding the involvement of the state-owned company in the bribery case of the Ministry of Transportation DJKA. "If there is an update, we will convey it to our friends," said the spokesman with the investigator's background.

Meanwhile, Anak Agung Gede Sumadi Suka Sedana did not say much after being questioned at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, August 16.

For information, Waskita Karya through its business unit Building Division is trusted to work on rail infrastructure projects in Medan and its surroundings worth Rp508 billion. At that time, Anak Agung Gede Sumadi as SVP Building Division and the Contract Signing Officer (PPK) of the Ministry of Transportation Muhlis Hanggani Capah signed a new contract in April 2022.

Previously reported, this bribery case began with a hand arrest operation (OTT) related to allegations of corruption at the Class I Railway Engineering Center for the Central Java Region of the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation. This action was carried out on April 11, 2023.

From the silent operation, the anti-corruption commission then named 10 suspects. Four parties are suspected of being bribers of the Director of PT Istana Putra Agung (IPA) Dion Renato Sugiarto (DIN); Director of PT Dwifarita Fajarkharisma, Muchamad Hikmat (MUH); Director of PT KA Management Properti until February 2023 Yoseph Ibrahim (YOS); and VP of PT KA Management Properti Parjono (PAR).

Meanwhile, those suspected of being recipients are the Director of Railway Infrastructure Harno Trimadi (HNO); Head of the Central Java Railway Engineering Center (BTP) Putu Sumarjaya; Commitment Making Officer (PPK) BTP Central Java Bernard Hasibuan (BEN); PPK BPKA South Sulawesi Achmad Affandi (AFF); PPK for Railway Infrastructure Fadliansyah (FAD); and PPK BTP West Java Synto Pirjani Hutabarat (SYN).

The KPK then announced two new suspects in this case on January 22, 2024. They are Yofi Okatrisza as ASN at the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) and former auditor of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Medi Yanto Sipahutar.
