French Train Jet Falls Into Mediterranean Sea, Pilot Lost
JAKARTA - The Fouga Magister training jet crashed into the sea during an aerial show near Lavandou, on France's Mediterranean coast.
Rescue Oerations are underway to try to find the pilot.
Reported by Reuters on Friday, August 16, the air show was part of the 80th anniversary of the landing of allied forces on the coast of the French Mediterranean.

Previously two French military jets collided in the air over eastern France causing one pilot to disappear along with one passenger. The other pilot survived the incident.
"One of the pilots has been found, he is safe and healthy. Research is still ongoing," said French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu.
French media reported rescue teams were looking for missing aircraft including students on one of the aircraft, as well as missing pilots.
