Russia Destroys Ukrainian Reconnaissance Unit Armed With NATO Country Supply In Kursk

JAKARTA - Russian troops destroyed Ukrainian reconnaissance and sabotage units armed with weapons from NATO countries in Russia's western Kursk region.

The sample of small weapons produced by the United States and Sweden has been seized at the site of the destruction of the Ukrainian sabotage group near the village of Kremyanoe in the Kursk region, RIA news agency reported a Russian security official reported by Reuters on Friday, August 16.

Russian troops confiscated Swedish-made Automatic Carbine 5 assault rifles and US-made M4 carbine assault rifles and M2 Browning machine guns.

Russia has been fighting back by attacking Ukrainian troops in Kursk since August 6, when Kyiv launched its biggest attack on Russia's sovereign territory since the Second World War.
