Mark Cuban Attends Crypto4Harris Event, Galang Crypto Support Creates Kamala Harris

JAKARTA - The development of the United States presidential election is increasingly interesting with the inclusion of crypto figures and supporters, including the latest move by billionaire and Shark Tank star Mark Cuban, who publicly supports Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming US presidential election.

Cuban appeared in a virtual Crypto4Harris event aimed at garnering support for Harris, as well as urging the government to end its crackdown on the crypto industry. At the event, Cuban not only expressed his views, but also introduced New York Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer.

Based on a report from Punchbowl News, Schumer took advantage of the opportunity to call for more reasonable and balanced regulation against the growing crypto industry.

He emphasized that crypto is not just an elite trend, but an asset that has been used by around 20 percent of Americans and this number is expected to continue to grow.

Schumer sees crypto as an innovation that the United States cannot ignore. He stated that wise regulations are needed so that the country remains the center of global innovation.

"In the end, my goal in terms of crypto regulation is to unite members of both sides in the Senate, create momentum so that we can pass reasonable laws and help the United States maintain its status as the most innovative country in the world. I want something to be passed in the Senate and become law before the end of the year, and I believe we can make it happen," Schumer said.

Schumer also emphasized that the United States cannot continue to be on the sidelines, because this risks making crypto move abroad. Although the *Crypto4Harris* event provides great support to Harris, the event is not officially affiliated with Harris' campaign.
