Ledger Live Cooperation, Revolut Makes It Easier To Purchase Crypto From Applications

JAKARTA - Revolut, a global fintech company, is expanding its reach in the crypto world. On Wednesday, August 14 yesterday, Revolut announced that it would integrate its app with Ledger Live, the software that powers Ledger's hardware-based crypto wallet.

Through this integration, Revolut users can buy Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and various other crypto assets supported by the platform directly through the Ledger Live application.

This collaboration is part of Revolut's mission to make it easier for new users to enter the crypto world. Revolut said that this collaboration would simplify the process of purchasing crypto assets for investors in a number of countries in the European Economic Zone (EEA). Users who have completed the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) identity verification process can start buying their preferred digital assets using bank cards.

For new users, Revolut offers convenience by completing the KYC process using a Visa or Mastercard card in order to immediately start buying cryptocurrencies. Ledger CEO Pascal Gauthier revealed that this partnership will increase user confidence in accessing the Web3 economy.

"Revolut shares the same vision as us in terms of improving the security and accessibility of users throughout the crypto ecosystem. With this, more users will feel more confident about switching from Web2 to Web3 and understanding the value and strength of self-custody," said Gauthier.
