Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu Denies Talking To Donald Trump About Gaza's Armistice
JAKARTA - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denied reports of him speaking with Republican Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump about a ceasefire in Gaza including the release of hostages.
"Contrary to media reports, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not speak with former President Donald Trump yesterday," a statement from Netanyahu's office said.
The Netanyahu-Trump talks report previously cited two US sources. One of the sources said Trump encouraged Netanyahu to accept a deal with Hamas.
But the report stressed that it was not confirmed whether this was true what the former president had told Netanyahu.
Meanwhile, Trump's campaign team has not responded to a request for response regarding the recent talks with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Hamas had previously confirmed that he would not attend the peace negotiations held today in Doha, Qatar.
"The movement will not be part of the upcoming negotiations that will resume on Thursday," Hamas Political Bureau member Suhail Hindi told Anadolu Agency (AA), quoted fromDaily Sabah.
