Mexican President Will Send Diplomatic Notes To US On USAID Donations To Opposition Organizations
JAKARTA - Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador will send a diplomatic note to the United States regarding interference over US donations to opposition civilian organizations.
Mexicanos Contra la Corrupcion y la Impunidad, an anti-corruption NGO that received US funding is said to be moving for the opposite.
"We have handled it here several times, it has been announced but now we will handle it in the right way through a letter I will send to President Biden," Lopez Obrador said.
Biden has acted very well. I believe he was not informed of this situation because they may have told him that the funds were used to support a foundation aimed at fighting corruption in Mexico, even though what happened was the opposite," he explained.
