French Military Jets Collision In The Air, 2 People Missing, One Selamat

JAKARTA - Two French military jets collided in the air over eastern France causing one pilot to disappear along with one passenger. Another pilot survived the incident.

"One of the pilots has been found, he is safe and healthy. Research is still ongoing," said French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu.

French media reported rescue teams were looking for missing aircraft including students on one of the aircraft, as well as missing pilots.

"Local operational centers have been activated to assist the armed forces, please stay away from the area (...)," Meurthe-et-Moselle authorities wrote on X.
