Former KPK Leaders And Employees Talk About Nurul Ghufron's Ethics Case When Meeting Nawawi Pomolango
JAKARTA - The former leader and employee of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) held an audience with the Temporary Chairperson of the KPK Nawawi Pomolango today. Three things were discussed, one of which was the alleged violation of the code of ethics by the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufron.
This was conveyed by former KPK employee M. Praswad Nugraha after participating in the activities held for two hours. He was present with former KPK commissioners Bambang Widjojanto and Saut Situmorang, to former KPK Advisor Abdullah Hehamahua.
"The process of enforcing the code of ethics to NG's saudata, which we all know together that the reading of the verdict was stopped by the Administrative Court's decision, which we also gave encouragement to the KPK," Praswad told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, August 14.
Praswad reminded that there should be no more ethical enforcement processes that are disrupted by the legal process. Because Ghufron's actions are considered to be a bad precedent.
As a reminder, Ghufron is currently suing the KPK Supervisory Board for investigating alleged ethical violations for helping the transfer of employees of the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan). This legal step was taken to the State Administrative Court (PTUN) and has not been decided.

"The next all ethical enforcement process at the KPK will be vulnerable to being thwarted through the decisions of the Administrative Court and the Administrative Court's lawsuit, while enforcement of ethics is not part of the Administrative Court," he said.
"We are also pushing this today to the Temporary Chair to immediately complete the process of reading the code of ethics verdict against NG," continued Praswad.
With the resolution of these ethical allegations, Praswad hopes that Ghufron's candidacy can be clearer. Do not let him be hampered by his actions and make the KPK in the spotlight again.
"So that today, the process at the State Secretariat has a leadership committee and others can get the best leadership, which of course is not burdened with the case of the code of ethics," he concluded.
