Randy Blythe, Frontman Lamb Of God Ready To Fight Spectators Who Hobby To Record Concerts
JAKARTA - The era of smartphones makes the atmosphere of the concert stage feel different. This was felt by Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe who was restless with this all-coup culture.
Not just complaining, Randy is committed to fighting a culture that makes him uncomfortable. He will fight it in his own way.
When interviewed by Kyle airing, Randy expressed his concern from the point of view of the performer. He feels lost in connection because viewers who should have expressed their emotions are busy lifting their cellphones.
"I don't need sympathy from the audience, but I feel there is a connection missing. I really want that bond with the audience," he said, quoted from Loudwire, August 14.
For this reason, he plans to take action to stop the culture, at least in his own band performances.

"I haven't done it yet, but I've planned. As more and more phones record, I'll walk out," he explained.
"I'll also bring a chair, put it in the middle of the stage after 1 or 2 songs, then I'll take my shot, direct it to the audience. Then I'll sit down, sing my song without moving, do the same thing they did. Are you enjoying it? No? Same!" said Randy.
Randy Blythe wants the audience to capture those memories in the audience's memory, not through a video phone. "You are not Steven Spielberg, so come and watch the concert with me," he concluded.
