List Of Cars Subject To Zero Tax, Tens Of Million Discounts
JAKARTA - The government is expanding the zero percent car tax program for vehicles with engines from 1.500cc to 2.500cc. The goal is to boost car sales in the country. The sales tax on luxury goods (PPnBM) has also been approved by the Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani.
The zero percent car tax for cars with engines 2.500cc and below will go into effect in April. Currently, Sri Mulyani is studying the policy of the minister of finance and it will be finalized in the near future. Finalize the zero percent car tax regulations from 1.500cc to 2.500cc.
Requirements related to the zero percent car tax regulation are being prepared, one of which is the engine capacity limit and others. This zero percent car tax will make it easier for consumers to get the car of their dreams.
"So we are making improvements, as long as 70 percent Domestic Component Level (TKDN) can reach (cars) to 2.500 cc, this will address the issue of several requests for cars over 1.500 cc in the PPnBM relaxation that is given", said Sri Mulyani through a virtual event, Tuesday. 23 March.

The mechanism for calculating the zero percent car tax is somewhat complicated. 4. Nissan: Nissan Livina
5. Honda: Honda Brio RS, Honda Mobilio, Honda BR-V, Honda HR-V
6. Suzuki: New Suzuki Ertiga, Suzuki XL-7
7. Wuling: Wuling Confero.
