Paid Apple Intelligence Features Will Not Be Present Until 2027

JAKARTA - In the coming years, some advanced features from Apple Intelligence are likely to be subject to additional subscription fees or payments. Although the iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia operating system updates will launch in the spring of this year, some of these AI features will only be available in scheduled updates until the end of 2024 and early 2025.

Apple has not provided specific information regarding the cost or subscription structure for Apple Intelligence features. However, according to a report from Bloomberg's Power On, the paid features are not expected to appear until at least 2027.

Preliminary features of Apple Intelligence will include smart Summarization capabilities in apps such as Mail and Messages, Siri assistant improvements, image generators, and more.

Like some other additional Apple services such as Apple TV+ or iCloud+, these advanced Apple Intelligence features are likely to be charged, especially for corporate users, the education sector, or business users with special needs.

Some analysts estimate that subscriptions to these features could cost up to US$20 (Rp320,000) per month. These features will most likely take advantage of Private Cloud Compute technology for large-scale services.
