GoPay And Coins Launch Receh Money Exchange Innovation To GoPay Balance

JAKARTA - Ahead of the commemoration of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day, GoPay, the financial application made by the nation's children succeeded in launching the 'Cinentary Turn to GoPay' initiative, to convert coins into GoPay balances.

In order to simplify the coin counting process, GoPay collaborates with Coin.id which provides machines to convert Rupiah coins into e-wallet balances automatically.

"Through this initiative, GoPay continues to support the Indonesian people to go cashless, in line with the government's mission to encourage non-cash transactions," said GoPay Head of Brand Marketing Marsela Renata in a written statement quoted on Sunday, August 11.

By exchanging coins into GoPay balances, people can transact anything and anywhere more safely, easily and practically. Marsela also believes that digitalizing payments is the first step to accelerate the circulation of money and turn the wheels of the country's economy.

So, after the change is exchanged, the GoPay balance can be directly used to buy electricity tokens, buy credit or data packages, make QRIS transactions, and transfer free to any bank through the GoPay application.

The exchange of coins into GoPay balances was carried out in Depok on August 9-10 yesterday. However, Coinan said that there would be another exchange location.
