From A Viral Story, Lecturer Movie Ghaib: It's Night Or Already Knows Enter Student Mental Health

JAKARTA - Ahead of the screening of the film Lecturer Ghaib: It's Night or Already Knows in theaters August 15, 2024, Dee Company's production house held the Gala Premiere at Epicentrum Walk, South Jakarta, Thursday, August 8, 2024. The event, which was greeted enthusiastically, was attended by Dheeraj Kalwani (CEO & Producer), Guntur Soeharjanto (Sutradara),ria Agnilia (Writ), Egi Fedly, Ersya Aurelia, Rayn Wijaya, Annette Edoarda, Endy Arfian (Player).

Dheeraj Kalwani enthusiastically introduced a film adapted from a viral story on social media. "Many ask what the film will look like? It's time for us to invite the audience to judge. This film is not just terror, but brings important issues in Indonesian education," he said.

One of the issues emphasized is that there should no longer be killer lecturers on campus. "UGM has firmly rejected the existence of killer lecturers. We want to show what impact it will have if learning is not carried out properly," continued Dheeraj.

Guntur Soeharjanto is also as enthusiastic as he is. "I'm happy to finally be able to release this film. The story developed from the viral story has its own challenges. All viral elements must enter, but stories must also not be connected arbitrarily," he said.

Tit for tat, cover Afnilia wrote a story that can be felt by all students. "It feels like at every level of education there are fierce teachers, killer lecturers. In the past, I thought it was a learning process, but with an increased awareness of the importance of mental health, everything changed. This is the basis for me to develop a story," he explained.
