British Police Claim Taylor Swift's Terror Concert In Vienna Has No Impact On Concert At Wembley Next Week

JAKARTA - British police claim there are no indications that the terror plan against Taylor Swift's concert in Vienna, Austria, will have an impact on its show at Wembley Stadium, London, next week.

Three Swift concerts in Vienna were canceled due to the disclosure of the 19-year-old man's terror plan which was said to have pledged allegiance to ISIS.

"There is no indication that the problems being investigated by Austrian authorities will have an impact on future events in London," a spokesman for the London Metropolitan Police said.

Taylor Swift is scheduled to hold a Wembley concert on August 15 for five nights before returning to North America.

Earlier, Austrian police on Wednesday detained two people suspected of planning an attack on Taylor Switzerland's concert. One of them, a 19-year-old suspect.

The police are working with the security team of places and other partners to ensure there are appropriate security plans and police, a spokesman for the London Police said.

"As usual, we will continue to review new information carefully," he added.
