ISIS Man Who Plans To Terror Taylor Swift's Concert Plans To Hit A Car Into Swifties

JAKARTA - The main suspect in the plan to attack Taylor Swift's Austrian concert, which has pledged allegiance to ISIS, has prepared two attack schemes. The suspect, who was caught having chemicals at his home, plans to crash a car into Swift (Swifties) fans.

Austrian public security director Frankz Ruf told radio ORF the chemicals and technical devices were found in the home of a 19-year-old youth, who came from North Macedonia, in Ternitz City.

This discovery shows a real preparatory act of a terror attack on Taylor Swift's concert. Three Swift concerts in Vienna were canceled.

The Kurier newspaper, citing a source familiar with the situation, reported that the suspect had stolen chemicals from his workplace at a metal processing company.

Reported by Reuters on Thursday, August 8, the newspaper reported that the perpetrators plan to drive a car towards a crowd of Taylor Swift (Swifties) fans who are expected to gather outside the stadium.

In addition, the perpetrator considered the plan to attack using machetes and knives.

Austria's interior ministry and intelligence agency could not be reached for comment on details of the report, and Reuters was unable to verify it.
