Jokowi Receives Trust Letter Of 10 Friends Of The State Ambassadors

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received credentials from ten extraordinary and fully powerful ambassadors (LBBP) of friendly countries at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Thursday, August 8.

Based on an official statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat received in Jakarta, the procession of the handover of credentials began with the listening of national anthems from each friendly country after the ambassadors arrived at the Merdeka Palace.

A number of troops also carried the flag of friendly countries with the Republic of Indonesia in the future of the Merdeka Palace.

The ten ambassadors of friendly countries received by President Jokowi, both those domiciled in (designate resident) and outside Indonesia (non-resident design) are:

1. Brunei Darussalam Ambassador to Indonesia, Brigadier General (Ret.) Dato Hajj Hero Series Abdul Razak bin Haji Abdul Kadir2. Cuban Ambassador to Indonesia Dagmar Gonzales Grau3. Papua New Guinea Ambassador to Indonesia Simon Namiss7. US Ambassador to Indonesia Kamala Shirin Lakhdhir8. Lithuanian Ambassador to Indonesia is domiciled in Singapore Darius Gaidys9. North Macedonia Ambassador to Indonesia is domiciled in Canberra Biljana Stefanovska10. Slovenian Ambassador to Indonesia is domiciled in Canberra Marko Ham

The ten ambassadors entered the Merdeka Palace one by one to wait for the handover of credentials to President Joko Widodo.

The handover of the credentials marked the start of the ambassador's official assignment in Indonesia.

After completing handing over the credentials to President Joko Widodo, the ambassadors took pictures one by one and then said goodbye.

The ten ambassadors then stood in the courtyard of the Merdeka Palace and the song Kebangsaan Indonesia Raya was also played on that occasion.

Also accompanying the President on the occasion were Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, and Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana.
