Lukman Edy Collaborates With 100 Lawyers To Face PKB Reports To The Police

JAKARTA - Former Secretary General of the National Awakening Party Muhammad Lukman Edy gave power to 100 advocates to deal with the party's report to the police against him.

"Our meeting discussed the assistance that will be given to me which was criminalized by Cak Imin (Chairman of PKB Muhaimin Iskandar). Today I just gave power to my friends, friends, my friends, all of my friends," said Lukman Edy as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 7.

The power was given to the Legal Aid Institute (LBH) Ansor as well as the NU Legal Counseling and Aid Institute (LPBHNU).

"Later there will be more from Himanu (NU Advocate Association), and there will be more from Dasril Affandi and colleagues who will assist those who provide strengths," he said.

On that occasion, the Head of LBH GP Ansor Dendy Zuhairil Finsa said that his party had received a power of attorney to become Lukman Edy's attorney.

"Later on Monday, we will give the legal review to all media friends," he promised.

Previously, PKB questioned Lukman's statement when giving a press statement after attending an invitation from the special committee formed by PBNU which took care of relations between the two institutions, Wednesday (31/7).

On Tuesday (6/8), PKB reported Lukman Edy to the National Police, East Java Police, West Nusa Tenggara Police, to the Central Java Regional Police. Lukman was reported again in a number of other areas.
