Clashes In The West Bank, Israeli Troops Kill 8 Palestinians

JAKARTA - Israeli forces killed four people in the city of Jenin in the West Bank, medics said the night of violence that killed four others in clashes near Tubas, near the border with Jordan.

The Israeli military said it carried out two separate airstrikes in the West Bank targeting armed militants but did not provide further details.

The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed four people were killed in the attack on two vehicles in Jenin, one of the most explosive conflict points in the West Bank. One other person was seriously injured.

The attack occurred during an operation in Jenin where footage shared on social media showed armored personnel carriers entering the city and armored bulldozers digging the road.

Israeli forces have killed hundreds of Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since the start of the war, many of whom were armed fighters, but many also threw stones at youths or civilians who were not involved.

At the same time, 13 Israelis were killed in an attack by Palestinian strikers.

On Tuesday, August 6, a border guard woman was injured in a stabbing attack by a Palestinian man using a screwdriver during a bus inspection at a checkpoint on the outskirts of Jerusalem. The attacker was shot dead.

On Monday, August 5 evening, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said four Palestinians were killed and seven others injured by Israeli fire in the city of Aqaba, near the city of Tubas.

Two injured victims were in critical condition.

The official Palestinian news agency WAFA said the clashes took place after Israeli forces surrounded a house in Aqaba and clashed with a group of youths.
