Investigating The Corruption Case Of Abdul Gani Kasuba, KPK Summons The Director Of Mineral Concession Development Of The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled an examination of the Director of Mineral Concession Development of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Tri Winarno (TW) today, Monday, August 5.
He will be questioned as a witness along with four other people related to allegations of corruption and money laundering (TPPU) of the former Governor of North Maluku Abdul Gani Kasuba.
"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building on behalf of the first TW as Director of Mineral Concession Development," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Monday, August 5.
In addition, investigators also summoned another witness, namely David Liangcy (DL) as Director of Tugu Utama Sejati; Branch Manager of PT BFI Finance Ternate branch, Fajaruddin (FJD); Branch Manager of BSI KCP Jailolo, Rima Melati Mansyur (RMM), and Data Request Officer of Bank BSI, Indra Grafika (IG).
Tessa has not yet detailed the material for summoning these witnesses. However, they are suspected of knowing the presumptuous practices carried out by Abdul Gani Kasuba.
Previously reported, the KPK named the inactive North Maluku Governor Abdul Gani Kasuba as a suspect in the alleged crime of money laundering (TPPU). He is suspected of washing up to Rp100 billion.
The determination of this suspect was carried out as the development of the alleged bribery of goods and services procurement projects as well as the granting of permits within the North Maluku Provincial Government. He has been detained along with five other suspects since December 20 after being caught in a hand arrest operation (OTT).
In addition, the KPK named Abdul Gani Kasuba's confidant, Muhaimin Syarif, who is the former chairman of the North Maluku Gerindra Party DPD as a suspect.

He is suspected of bribing former North Maluku Governor Abdul Gani Kasuba in the amount of Rp. 7 billion for the management of the Production Operation IUP to the proposal for the determination of the mining business permit area (WIUP) to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
