Reports Of Piles Of Garbage In Limboto Responded To By DLH Gorontalo Falls

GORONTALO - Gorontalo Regency Government (Pemkab) followed up on reports of piles of garbage located on the side of the Jalan Hutoo Village, Limboto District, Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province.

"After receiving the residents' reports, I along with the relevant agencies immediately checked the location and took action," said Acting Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Gorontalo Regency Haris Suparto Tome in Gorontalo, Sunday, August 4, as reported by Antara.

He explained that the accumulated waste was a serious concern, given its impact on the environment and public health.

"Cleaning the environment is our shared responsibility, and we cannot allow conditions like this to continue to drag on," he said.

Piles of garbage, which are dominated by household waste and organic waste, cause an unpleasant odor and can become a source of disease. Garbage scattered along the road also disturbs the view and can endanger road users.

To overcome this problem, Haris instructed the Environment Agency (DLH) to immediately clean up and transport the garbage.

In addition, also coordinating with other related parties, to find long-term solutions so that the waste problem in the region is resolved.

Haris appealed to the public to be more concerned about the environment by throwing garbage in its place.

"Let's work together to maintain the cleanliness of the environment, so that Gorontalo Regency becomes a clean and healthy city," said Haris.
