Vatican Considers The Opening Of The 2024 Paris Olympics Parodikan The Last Homecoming Of Blasphemy Religion
JAKARTA - The Vatican is disappointed with the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics which is considered to be parody of Leonardo da air.
Reuters reported Sunday, August 4, the segment at the opening ceremony of the Olympics in France on July 26, 2024 resembles the scene in the Bible about God Christians and their followers sharing the last meal before the Taliban. However, featured in the event was transgender, and naked singer as the Greek wine god Dionysus.
"The Holy See is saddened by a number of scenes at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics and cannot join voices regretting insulting many Christians and adherents of other religions in recent days," read a Vatican press release published in French.

The organizers of the 2024 Paris Olympics then apologized two days later after the opening ceremony saying there was never any intention of disrespecting any religious group.
The artistic director behind the scenes of the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics said that what had been displayed was not inspired by the last Christian body, but rather aarily party related to historic Olympics.
"In prestigious events where the whole world gathers with the same values, there should be no satire that mocks the religious beliefs of many people," the Vatican statement said.
"Freedom of expression, which is clearly not questionable, finds its limits in terms of respecting others," the statement continued.
The Vatican did not elaborate on the reasons for the response to the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics in the family more than a week later.
The Vatican said Pope Francis had discussed the polemic at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on August 1.
