Philippine Mindanao Rocked By An Earthquake With A Magnitude Of 6.7
JAKARTA - An earthquake measuring 6.7 hit the east coast of Mindanao Island in the Philippines.
The German Geoscience Research Center (GFZ) said the earthquake on Saturday, August 3, occurred at a depth of 10 km.
Reported by Reuters, the US Geological Survey estimates that the strength of the Mindanao Philippines earthquake is 6.8 magnitude.

The US National Tsunami Warning Center stated that there was no tsunami threat from the earthquake.
Meanwhile, Philippine seismological Agency PHIVOLCS said it did not expect any damage from the offshore earthquake, but warned of aftershocks.
