Russian Drone Hits Bus In Kharkiv Ukraine, 6 People Injured

JAKARTA - Russian military drones hit a bus in the Kharkiv region in northeastern Ukraine. The explosion injured six construction workers, including one person who was in critical condition.

Reported by Reuters on Friday, August 2, Kharkiv Governor, Oleh Syniehubov, said the incident occurred near the city of Derhachi, about 40 km (25 miles) from Hlyboke, one of the border settlements where Russia opened a new front in the war in May.

The Ukrainian military halted Russian attacks there, rushing to add reinforcements after Russia pushed up to 10 km (six miles) into the border.

Thousands of people have been killed since Russia launched a massive invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
