PKB Consider Joining KIM Plus In The Jakarta Pilkada
JAKARTA - The National Awakening Party (PKB) is considering an offer to join the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (Maju) in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada. If the 'KIM Plus' is implemented, Jazilul assesses that there will only be one coalition axis in Jakarta.
"Yes, if there is a KIM plus axis, there will be one axis. There will be no 2 axes. If this happens, KIM with other strengths, yes, there will definitely be one axis," said PKB Deputy Chairman Jazilul Fawaid, Friday, August 2.
"We consider it, we consider it. It's already in the public offering, we will consider it for the good of Jakarta, the good of Indonesia," he continued.
Jazilul explained the reason why PKB wanted to consider an offer to join KIM Plus. First, togetherness collaboration. Second, Indonesia needs collaboration, including in Jakarta.
"And PKB always prioritizes togetherness," said the Deputy Chairperson of the MPR.
Jazilul did not deny the possibility that his party would encourage Anies Baswedan as a candidate for governor of Jakarta to KIM Plus. "Everything is possible," he said.

"Yes, the term KIM Plus, Mr. Dasco, said that in my perspective, KIM Plus collaborates on all political forces. If there is collaboration in DKI, there will also be collaboration at the national level. Because DKI and the national slice is close," he concluded.
