After 21 Years, The North Jakarta Immigration Office Finally Has Its Own Building

JAKARTA - Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham) Yasonna H. Laoly inaugurated the Class I Immigration office building TPI North Jakarta on Jalan Agung Karya V Blok A Number 15, Papanggo Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Friday 2 August.

"I officially received an office building covering an area of 2,707 square meters from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to be used as an Immigration service office," Yasonna said in Jakarta, Friday, August 2.

He said that he always strives so that the Class I Immigration Office of North Jakarta TPI can stand on his own land.

"On February 16, 2023, efforts so that the Class I Immigration Office of North Jakarta TPI has an office building can be realized," he said.

He said this moment was a sign of the achievement and journey of development in carrying this project into the next stage of development.

Yasonna congratulated the Class I Immigration Office of TPI North Jakarta because for his hard work in carrying out the inauguration.

"I hope that the next development process can be completed smoothly, in accordance with the commitment, in accordance with the plan that has been prepared, and in accordance with applicable security standards," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of DKI Jakarta, R. Andika Dwi Prasetya, said that 21 years since the Class I Immigration Office of TPI North Jakarta was inaugurated on July 2, 2003, his party for 21 years did not yet have its own office building.

He said the construction work for the construction of the Class I Immigration Office of North Jakarta TPI began on March 4, 2024, with a work period of 180 calendar days.

"Currently, the work has reached 81.7 percent and the work that must be completed is the installation of tiles, walls and basic floor work and the installation of glass," he said.
