Astra Financial Successfully Book Transactions Of IDR 2.53 Trillion At GIIAS 2024

JAKARTA - The new 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) has been successfully utilized by platinum sponsor Astra Financial to facilitate vehicle transactions during the exhibition.

For this year's edition, the company managed to collect 6,780 Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK) with a transaction value of IDR 2.53 trillion or a natural increase of 4.70 percent compared to the previous one.

Project Director of Astra Financial Tan Chian Hok, said that this achievement was driven by public trust in services from his side and various interesting programs during the event which lasted eleven days.

"This is also driven by various attractive promos that are presented as an effort to make it easier for GIIAS 2024 visitors to have their dream vehicle," he said in an official statement, Friday, August 2.

Of this amount, four-wheeled vehicles through ACC and TAF managed to become the most contributors to 6,210 SPK by recording transaction values of up to IDR 2.47 trillion, an increase of 4.80 percent.

According to data received by VOI, cars with Internal Combustion (ICE) engines dominated demand during GIIAS 2024 with 4,865 units or contributed 78.34 percent.

Meanwhile, the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) segment is below it with a total of 1,261 units or 20.31 percent followed by Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) totaling 84 units or 1.35 percent.

For the financing of two-wheeled vehicles, FIFGROUP managed to book 570 units, an increase of 0.50 percent compared to last year's transaction value of up to Rp12.42 billion.

Not only that, digital financial institutions such as SEVA managed to record 4,567 instant approvals or an increase of 16.9 percent compared to last year's event.

During the 11 exhibition days, there were 20,579 potential consumers who were interested in the Astra Financial promo, of which 62 percent were interested in automotive products, both four-wheeled and two-wheeled, including vehicle and life insurance related to vehicles, and 38 percent showed interest in lifestyle products such as AstraPay, Bank Saqu, Maucash, and Moxa.
