Hezbollah And Iran Prepare Retaliatory, Israel Warns Citizens To Be Extra Careful Abroad

JAKARTA - Israel's national security council warned Israelis to be extra careful when traveling abroad and said Iran or its allies Hamas and Hezbollah could target Israeli or Jewish institutions abroad.

The warning was issued by the prime minister's office amid growing concerns in Israel about the attacks of its enemies in retaliation for the killings of senior leaders Hezbollah and Hamas this week.

As previously reported, top Iranian officials will meet representatives of Iran's regional allies from Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen.

Iran and allies discussed a potential retaliation against Israel after the assassination of a Hamas leader in Tehran, five sources told Reuters.

The region faces the risk of widespread conflict between Israel, Iran and representatives of its allies following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on Wednesday, July 31, including the assassination of senior commander Hezbollah on Tuesday in an Israeli attack on the outskirts of the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

Meanwhile, Lebanese Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah vowed to retaliate for the Israeli assassination of the group's main military commander.

Speaking in a televised address to commemorate the funeral of the killed commander, Nasrallah said the conflict had entered a new phase unlike the previous phase.

Hezbollah said Israel had crossed the red line by attacking the group's camp.

Nas sallah mengatakan negara-negara yang tidak disebutkan namanya telah meminta kelompoknya untuk membalasan dengan cara yang dapat diterima atau tidak sama sekali.

But he said it was "impossible" for the group not to give a response.

"There is no discussion on this. The only thing that exists between us and you is day, night and battlefield," Nasrallah continued as a threat to Israel.
