Plays As Mike Tyson In The Biographical Series, Jamie Foxx: I Can't Wait To Show It To Everyone

JAKARTA - Actor Jamie Foxx was appointed to play Mike Tyson in a biographical series about the legendary boxer. The series is produced by Antoine Fuqua and Martin Scorsese.

The series is also directed by Scorsese and Tyson. The scriptwriter is Colin Preston who wrote the pilot episodes and is planned to write the whole.

Initially, this project was made for a 2014 film but the concept changed to a series but Foxx was still appointed as the main character.

Cited from Deadline today, March 23, Foxx said he was training to be a boxer.

He remembers his first meeting with Mike Tyson when Foxx appeared on the stand-up comedy stage at the age of 22 and made jokes about the boxer.

“Making a biography is a difficult thing. Sometimes it takes 20 years to complete", said Foxx of his role in this biographical film.

"But we have officially started the cultivation process. I can't wait to show it to everyone".
