Cassation Rejected By Supreme Court, Convict M. Taha Tuhepaly Was Immediately Executed By The Ambon Kejari
JAKARTA - The Ambon Branch Prosecutor's Office in Saparua executed M. Taha Tuhepaly, convicted of Village Fund (DD) corruption and Village Fund Allocation (ADD) Negeri Sirisori Islam, East Saparua District, Central Maluku Regency 2018-2019 after the Indonesian Supreme Court rejected the appeal."The execution of the convict who is the Village Secretary or State of the Islamic Sirisori by the prosecutor is in accordance with the Order for the Implementation of the Court Decision (P-48) Number PRINT- 106 /Q.1.10.1 / Fu.1 / 07/2024 dated July 24, 2024," said Ambon Kejari Head Ahmad Birawa in Ambon, Antara, Wednesday, July 31.The results of Mahkmah Agung RI's Decision Number 4917 K/Pid.Sus/2023 stated that they rejected the appeal of the defendant M. Terpidana dijerat dengan Pasal 3 Juncto Pasal 18 Undang-Undang RI Nomor 20 Tahun 2001 tentang Perubahan atas Undang-Undang Nomor 31 Tahun 1999 tentang Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Korupsi Juncto Pasal 55 ayat (1) Ke-1 Juncto Pasal 64 Paragraph (1) KUHP.Previously, the prosecutor had also executed another convict on behalf of H. Edy Pattisahusiwa to Ambon Prison after the appeal to the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia was also rejected.
