Megawati Calls The KPK Targeting People Close To The PDIP

PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri again gave satire to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigator AKBP Rossa Purbo Bekti who had examined PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto regarding the Harun Masiku case. Megawati suspects that her close people are being targeted for criminalization.

Megawati admitted that she was not afraid of Rossa, who she considered odd in conducting Hasto's examination.

"Who are you Rossa? Don't just you, KPK, yes I'm not afraid, gile you know," Megawati said while giving a political speech at the Perindo Mukernas event in Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, last Tuesday.

According to Megawati, Rossa's examination of Hasto at the KPK was full of irregularities. In fact, he said, KPK investigators should work according to the rules.

"I'm not afraid when Mr. Hasto was called," said Megawati.

Megawati reiterated that she was involved in the formation of a number of legal institutions, such as the Constitutional Court (MK) and the KPK. "Who made the Constitutional Court? It's true if you don't believe it, it will make my KPK," said Megawati.

It's just that, he said, law enforcement is currently easily intervened by power. Megawati also suspects that her close people are being targeted for criminalization. Megawati felt that this step was taken because no one dared to face her directly.

"I don't dare to take it. The target is around me," concluded Megawati.
