Response To BPK's Teuan, KPK Notes The Excess Of Paying 34 Project Packages In Tabalong, South Kalimantan

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) highlighted the performance of a number of officials in the Tabalong Regency Government (Pemkab), South Kalimantan (Kalsel) regarding the findings of audits by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) ranging from honorarium payments that do not comply with the provisions to the lack of work volume.

The KPK team, who is also the Head of the Prevention Coordination and Supervision Task Force, Maruli Tua Manurung, said there was a volume shortage over the implementation of three building and building capital expenditure jobs in three SKPDs.

"The results of the BPK examination at the Perkim Service and the Tabalong PUPR Service showed a volume shortage which resulted in an overpayment of 34 packages of road, network and irrigation work worth Rp. 2.6 billion," said Maruli in Tabalong, South Kalimantan, Tuesday, July 30, which was confiscated by Antara.

Maruli said that the results of the 2023 BPK audit also found that the payment of honorarium for resource persons, committees and the implementing team for activities in the six SKPDs did not comply with the provisions.

In front of officials, the Tabalong Maruli Regency Government also highlighted the absence of accounting policies related to investment properties and inventory activities and presented them in the balance sheet as of December 31, 2023.

Including questioning the question of not collecting levies on the use of shops and land at Terminal Kelua for the 2023 budget year worth IDR 442 million.

"There is something that is not collected or there is an individual," said Maruli.

Therefore Maruli reminded officials to support efforts to prevent corruption by acting decisively and having to consult frequently with the inspectorate so that work can comply with the rules.

The coordination meeting to eradicate corruption was attended by Tabalong Regent Hamida Munawarah attended by echelon II officials and representatives of regional apparatus organizations within the Tabalong Regency Government.
