Visiting KY, Early Family Asks 3 Judges Who Sentence Free Ronald Tannur To Be Dealt With

JAKARTA - Sera Afrianti's early childhood family together with their attorneys visited the Judicial Commission (KY), Monday, July 299 morning. Their arrival was to report the three judges who acquitted Gregorius Ronald Tannur (GRT).

"Today we are still fighting for justice in the Republic of Indonesia," said Dimas Yemaur as attorney for Dini Sera Afriyanti to reporters, Monday, July 29.

Dimas admitted that he brought a number of evidences when reporting Erintuah Damanik, Heru Hanindio, and Mangapul. The evidence ranges from copies of the indictment to the results of the post-mortem.

"The evidence we bring is that maybe the pictures that show the judge's consideration in this case are not true and we also bring evidence in the form of an indictment containing the results of the post-mortem," he said.

Dimas hopes that KY will examine the three judges. In addition, he also urged them to be dealt with.

"We report to KY on the three panel of judges who examined the case against the GRT who was acquitted. Hopefully, the three panel of judges will be examined immediately and immediately taken action from KY," he said.

It is known, in a trial that took place at the Surabaya District Court on Wednesday, July 24, the chairman of the panel of judges, Erintuah Damanik, acquitted the defendant Gregorius Ronald Tannur because he was deemed not legally and convincingly proven to have committed the murder or persecution that caused the death of the victim.

In addition, the defendant is also considered to be still trying to help the victim when he is critical. This is evidenced by the defendant's efforts to take the victim to the hospital for help.

Previously, KY confirmed to conduct an examination of the panel of judges at the Surabaya District Court (PN) who issued a (vonic) verdict free of Gregorius Ronald Tannur (31), the son of a member of the DPR who allegedly abused his girlfriend, Dini Sera Afrianti (29) to death.

KY spokesman Mukti Fajar Nur Dewata said the step was taken after the decision of the panel of judges chaired by Erintuah Damanik hurt the community's sense of justice and caused a polemic.

"The Judicial Commission understands that if a turmoil eventually arises because it is considered to injure justice. However, because there is no report to KY, while this decision has attracted public attention, KY uses his initiative right to conduct an examination of the case," he said in a written statement in Jakarta, Thursday last week.
