E: N1, Honda's First Electric Car Wins Visitors' Favorite Car Award At GIIAS
The variety of vehicles appeared enchanting at the GIIAS 2024 event, including from Honda which brought e:N1 which was introduced as Honda's first electric car for Indonesia which will start marketing in 2025.
Previously, the prototype form of Honda e:N1 which was introduced as the Honda SUV e: Prototype has also won the favorite car award for GIIAS 2023 visitors. In this GIIAS event, the mass production version of Honda e:N1 has again become one of the main attractions of the Honda booth along with the latest hybrid model Honda STEPWGN e: HEV.

Honda e: N1 was chosen as Honda's first electric car for Indonesia after going through a research phase to study consumer needs and infrastructure in Indonesia. As a result, this electric SUV model is considered in accordance with the diverse character of Indonesia's roads and the communal habits of Indonesian consumers.

Ahead of its launch next year, Honda is currently continuing to study the best business scheme and preparing its sales network and full-sales to provide convenience for consumers who want to own this car.
Honda e: N1 is equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 68.8 kWh, allowing a maximum distance of up to 500 km with a single charge. In addition, the displayed Honda e:N1 has adopted a fast charging technology that allows charging up to 80% of battery capacity within 50 minutes.
In more detail, Honda e:N1 offers a futuristic design with a 15.1-inch Audio Display screen and is equipped with a 10.25-inch TFT meter.
The introduction of Honda e:N1 in Indonesia is part of Honda's global vision of achieving carbon neutrality by 2040. Globally, Honda plans to introduce at least 30 electricity-based models by 2030, with total production reaching 2 million units per year. Honda is committed to achieving carbon neutrality for all company products and activities by 2050.
